What will be covered in the session:

This will be a relaxed session, with the Business & IP Centre. It's an opportunity to get together, maintain or re-establish those core relationships and build new ones. With opportunities to share successes too, as we celebrate International Women's Day (IWD). #IWD2025

International Women's Day in March is every year and 'a global celebration of the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women.' *

We will be thinking of the business support 'strategies, resources and activity that positively impact women's advancement'. *

Our first speakers are Louise Aldridge and Ana Silva from the Library Development Team of Cambridgeshire Libraires and will be joining us to share with you the EverySpace project . This project is centred around adaptable, co-managed spaces that bring services closer to the community. Designed for accessibility, the facilities and flexible layouts serve a range of audiences, tempting more people to visit and discover the breadth of services on offer at the library.

Our second speaker is currently being confirmed.

This session will be interspersed with networking opportunities with the speakers , your peers and the Business and IP Centre team, until14.00.

Biscuits and tea /coffee will be provided throughout, please bring your lunch. Please note these Women in Business sessions are aimed at those living in Cambridgeshire.

Louise Aldridge

Library Development Officer for East Cambridgeshire and Fenland Districts.

As a member of the EverySpace Project Team I was actively involved in the creation of the EverySpace in March Library.

I now co-lead the Working Party responsible for the developing and promoting the programming within the Space.

Ana Silva

I’m a Library Development Officer for Cambridge City libraries, leading on Information, Learning, Libraries of Sanctuary and Equality, Diversity and Inclusion. As member of the EverySpace Project Team, I will be involved in the delivery of the project at Cambridge Central Library.

Accessibility:

This event is for people aged 18+ and takes place , on the 3rd floor of Cambridge Central LIbrary, which is wheelchair accessible. There is a baby change and accessible toilet on site. There are padded chairs. There's blue badge holder parking at the multi-storey Grand Arcade car park, which is the closest.
