About this Event
Not sure where to start? Feeling self-conscious about lifting weights in a big gym? Join Brenda Booth, Propel Life Fitness & CecI Martinez, Absolute Fitness & learn to lift weights safely & effectively. This month long clinic provides in-person & online education to start you on your path to improved strength & confidence. You will:
• Learn benefits and recommendations on strength training
• Hear the latest on the muscle = metabolism controversy
• Learn proper form, weight training techniques, & specific exercises for your unique needs
• Get your workout in & take the exercise plan home to do on your own
Includes 3 weekly – 30 minute virtual group check-ins (Thursday’s at 5:30pm)
Final in-person check-in Saturday, June 16th 9:30-10:30am

Cost: $49 plus tax/Eventbrite fees

Trainer Bios
Brenda Booth is the owner and curator of Propel Life Fitness LLC in South Florida. She holds an MBA from St. Catherine University and works in the healthcare industry.
Brenda is certified by the National Academy of Sports Medicine as a personal trainer (NASM-CPT), USMS Adult Swim Instructor & trained by Wellcoaches in motivational interviewing and coaching techniques. She has been in fitness most of her life and believes weight training has helped her slow the aging process & remain healthy & active.
Brenda gets great satisfaction from doing what she loves most; helping others make lifestyle changes that will positively impact their health for life.
Ceci Martinez is a fitness professional dedicated to helping people improve their wellness through personalized training programs. Her approach focuses on making fitness an enjoyable and sustainable part of everyday life. She specializes in functional training, mobility, strength training, muscle growth, and fat loss.
She has been certified by ISSA since 2010 and holds additional certifications in senior fitness, TRX, STRONG, HIIT, and ketogenic nutrition.
