About this Event
For International Women’s Day, join the Social Democrats for an important conversation on the role of women in peacebuilding.
Senator Patricia Stephenson and the Social Democrats invite you to a panel event exploring the gendered impacts of conflict and the vital importance of the Women, Peace & Security agenda, including UN Resolution 1325.
We’ll discuss how conflict affects women differently and why their voices are essential for building lasting peace.
You’ll hear directly from women from Palestine, Kurdistan, Iran, and Ukraine, along with insights from advocates and practitioners, including ActionAid and Christian Aid Ireland.
Don’t miss this powerful and timely discussion — we look forward to seeing you there.
