In it, she stars as Tess alongside Spencer Tracy as Sam. The duo are feuding journalists whose relationship is tested after Sam begins to question Tessβ unflinching commitment to work. This film would mark Tracy and Hepburnβs first on-screen pairing, which would last 8 more films, proving they had chemistry right from the beginning.
