WNPT’s BIKE VESSEL Indie Lens Pop-Up w/Oasis Bike Workshop

Our free IndieLens Pop-Up screening event at the Oasis Center celebrates the work of the Oasis Bike Workshop and the Bike Vessel documentary.

The film follows Eric D. Seals and his father on a 350-mile bike ride from St. Louis to their hometown of Chicago while telling the family's story and that of the elder Seals’ three open-heart surgeries.

After the film screening, Oasis Bike Workshop students, staff, and volunteers will talk about how cycling has positively impacted their lives.

Refreshments will be served. This event is free, but RSVPs are requested.

About the Oasis Bike Workshop: Founded in 2009, this year-round earn-a-bike program that empower Nashville's young people with alternative transportation and maintenance skills. Since its inception, over 5,000 young people have rolled out the workshop door on bikes that THEY rebuilt and customized.
