Wizard Robot - Jazz Concert at the Center

Led by Daniel J Owens (piano), founder of the Center for Musical Arts in Sacramento, Wizard Robot features Nate Furgason (bass) and Scott Gordon (drums). Inspired by both contemporary and classic tunes, the trio aims to blur the lines between some of the most recognizable pop songs and legendary jazz standards. The results have engaged both new listeners and jazz fans alike.

The group has performed for audiences in venues such as The California Jazz Conservatory, Yoshi’s Oakland, Somethin, The Bitter End and Pianos in New York City, and various jazz festivals including the Monterey Jazz Fest.

With a residency at the Center recently announced, you'll be able to enjoy Wizard Robot on the 4th Friday of every month.
