Within The Frame 2025 Animation Screening | Los Angeles CA

Within The Frame is an annual animation challenge where artists are tasked with creating a short film in just 7 days based on a given prompt. This year, filmmakers were asked to create a short that completes the prompt "kinda smells like..."

With two previous anthologies under our belt, we're proud and excited to be hosting one of our first ever in-person screenings at in LA!

With its big neighborhood feel, Shim Sham is one of the last remaining dive bars in Los Angeles. They've held quite a few movie nights and short film screenings and we're delighted to join the lovely atmosphere they've created!

Come join us for a showcase of just over 40 charming, magical, and quite possibly even peculiar films by independent artists from across the globe. Hope to see you there :D
