About this Event

About This Event:

We are excited to invite you to our first in-person networking event of 2025 by the river at the stunning Graduate Hotel Hilton in Cambridgeshire. This event promises to be another unique and enjoyable opportunity to connect with like-minded businesses and registered non-profits who share a commitment to doing good in the community.

For the first time, we are adding a delightful twist to the event—Afternoon Tea! This is the perfect way to finish off the gathering, enjoying good food, finger sandwiches, sausage rolls, brownies, flapjacks, and scones, along with tea and coffee over purposeful conversations.

What Makes Our Events Special?

Our events are designed to create a collaborative space where businesses and non-profits can connect on equal terms. We don't believe in awkward sales pitches or hard sells—our focus is on fostering genuine relationships first. We encourage businesses to give back to their communities through pro bono time, skills, expertise, resources, and finance. Non-profit organisations are invited to share what they are seeking from businesses and how they can collaborate in a mutually beneficial way.

This event is all about facilitating valuable connections with the goal of creating positive social impact. You’ll leave with stronger partnerships, a better network to leverage your profile and contacts, and a deeper understanding of how to make a difference in your community.

Please note that only one representative per organisation is able to attend to ensure fair space and balanced representation from both sectors. This individual should be in a leadership role, leading in sustainability or ESG AND/OR responsible for managing strategic partnerships AND community engagement.

What to Expect at Our Multi Award Winning Events:

-Networking and Preparation
Upon arrival, you'll have the opportunity to network with individuals from various sectors. Businesses and non-profits will be colour-coded for easy identification. Prepare yourself by thinking about what you can offer or what you're seeking: Pro bono time, skills, expertise, resources, or finance.

-Structured Networking Activities
Networking can sometimes feel challenging, but we’ve designed some structured activities to make the experience engaging and fun. Our previous attendees report that our activities and vibe help build meaningful connections while enjoying the positive atmosphere of our event, with everyone coming for a common purpose.

-Afternoon Tea
To wrap up the event, we’ll enjoy a lovely buffet Afternoon Tea. This is a wonderful opportunity to continue conversations and exchange contact information in a relaxed and friendly environment.

-Final Networking and Personalised Support
Don’t forget to bring along relevant materials, including contact details and business cards. With Purpose Network members receive full contact information for all attendees, making follow-ups even easier as an added bonus of being a member.
