Step into an old folk practice of working with mullein as we craft our own Witch’s Torches, also known as Hag Tapers or Hag Torches. Mullein has long been gathered, dried, and used as a natural torch and candle. Across European folk traditions, it became associated with protection, purification, guidance, courage, and illumination. 🔥
In this hands-on workshop, you will craft three mullein Witch’s Torches, each created through trance, spell work, and intentional energy:
🔥 Ancestor Torch — dedicated to your ancestors and Samhain, created as a light of remembrance, connection, and ancestral guidance.
🔥 Protection & Illumination Torch — dedicated to protection, courage, and bringing light to the path ahead.
🔥 Your Own Creation — receive your intention through trance and create a torch dedicated to whatever you are called to work with.
This is not simply candle making. As we create, you will be guided through trance, spell work, energy raising, and activation, learning how to channel your own energy and work with your ancestors through the act of creation.
You will learn how to infuse your magic into the materials, raise and direct your energy, and activate each torch with intention so that the finished candle carries the magic you created within it.
You’ll leave with three activated mullein Witch’s Torches to use in your own ritual and magical practice.
Bring:

✨ extra herbs you feel called to bring (herbs will be provided, but in case you want to bring something special.
