Halloween in Buckhead comes alive at the Witchy Wheels Parade and Pumpkin Patch, where bikes become broomsticks, pumpkins line the path, and laughter fills the air. As the spell of Halloween settles over the trail, ghosts giggle, goblins grin, and princesses twirl by on bikes that shimmer in the sun. The day overflows with playful energy and fall fun, with music, face painting, balloon twisters, and a colorful pumpkin patch perfect for photos before little hands pick their favorite to take home. Judges will be watching for the most creative costumes and decorated bikes.

• Halloween-Themed Bike Parade: Decorate your bike with your spookiest Halloween flair and ride through the beautiful fall scenery of Buckhead.
• Costume Contests: Prizes for best-dressed adult, child under 14, and even pets! Plus, awards for the best-decorated bikes (adult and child categories).
• Trick or Treating: Our local business partners, including Capital One Café will be handing out treats! Pet-friendly treats, too!
• Costume Swap: Swap, share, and celebrate a greener Halloween with Livable Buckhead’s community Costume Swap.

Celebrate a more mindful Halloween with Livable Buckhead’s community Costume Swap, a fun and simple way to keep the spooky season sustainable. Each year, thousands of costumes are worn once and then forgotten, but this fall they’ll find new homes instead of heading to the landfill. From October 20 to 24, drop off gently used costumes and accessories for kids, adults, and pets at the Carl E. Sanders Family YMCA in Buckhead, or bring them to the Witchy Wheels Parade and Pumpkin Patch to trade for something “new to you.” It’s an easy, feel-good way to share the magic, save a little money, and make Halloween more creative, connected, and eco-friendly.
