John Kimball settled the Kimball Jenkins estate in Concord, NH, ten years before the American Revolution. Over six generations, the family built houses and gardens, with "The Mansion"—constructed between 1877 and 1882—showcasing stunning Victorian architecture. Carolyn Jenkins, the last heir, had a flourishing career in theater and left the estate in trust to benefit the Concord community, fostering cultural and educational initiatives. Today, the Kimball-Jenkins Estate houses the School of Art, serving over 1,300 students annually, and features galleries and studios for a variety of art disciplines while hosting events like weddings and corporate gatherings.
