Rebecca Nurse (1621–1692) was accused, convicted, and hung as a witch in Salem, Massachusetts, during the witchcraft frenzy that gripped that town in the late 1600s. She was a featured character in Arthur Miller’s play “The Crucible.”
Actress Molly Cornwell will perform as Rebecca Nurse.
Molly’s theatre work is extensive as an actor and a director. She has performed at the Cleveland Play House, the Milwaukee Repertory Theater, the Great Lakes Theatre Festival, Dobama Theatre and the Hanna Theatre.
