Witches Cauldron Gathering: Lughnasadh + The Wheel of the Year

Please join us as we gather around the Witches Cauldron for an evening of community and conversation. This time is being set aside to allow Witches and witch-friendly community members to come together and discuss a topic of the evening along with a crystal of the month.
In July, the topic will be Lughnasadh + The Wheel of the Year. Come learn about The Wheel of the Year, the modern Pagan calendar that tracks the changing seasons and the sun's annual cycle and the eight seasonal festivals (called sabbats) divided equally across the year.
August 1 is Lughnasadh (pronounced LOO-nuh-suh), a harvest festival. It marks the midpoint between the summer solstice and autumn equinox. This is a time to honor the fruits of our labors, show gratitude for the Earth's abundance, and build community as we celebrate summer's vitality and begin shifting into the energies of fall.
The Crystal of the Month will be Citrine! Citrine is associated with Lughnasadh (also known as Lammas) as a crystal of abundance, sunshine, and manifestation. As a stone that embodies the warmth of the sun, it perfectly mirrors the holiday's fiery, solar energy and celebrates the prosperity of the late-summer harvest.
