Join us for an afternoon of Rhythm, Music, Autumn Magic, and Good Company in The Witchcraft District!
On Sunday, September 27th, we're gathering at Waryas Park for a good old-fashioned Witch Community Drum Circle as we welcome the arrival of our favorite season.
Bring your drums, cajons, cowbells, shakers, tambourines, rattles, bells, or whatever else makes some noise! Don't have an instrument? That's okay, too. Come listen, clap your hands, move with the rhythm, or simply be part of the circle.
This isn't a performance. It's a gathering. Witches, Warlocks, Pagans, Heathens, Occultists, Sorcerers, Druids, practitioners of the Old Ways, the magically curious, and friends from ALL paths are welcome.
These Witch Community Events have always been about more than the activity itself. They're about getting out from behind our screens, meeting one another in the real world, making friendships, sharing our different paths, and continuing to build the wonderfully diverse Witch Community right here in The Witchcraft District. And this time, we're doing it to a beat. 🥁
Of course, we're also bringing some Autumn Vibrations to the afternoon! 🍂 The changing season, the September air, a little Harvest magic, and that unmistakable feeling that Autumn has returned. Exactly what that will look like? We're still conjuring that part. 🎃
What we do know is that we're going to gather beside the Hudson River, make some noise, share some laughs, meet some new people, reconnect with old friends, and welcome Autumn together. No drumming or musical experience is needed. There is no right rhythm, no wrong rhythm, and absolutely no audition to get into the circle.
Whether you walk a magical path, are simply curious about the community, or just want to spend some time among wonderfully strange people... you are welcome here.
