14th Annual Cider Tasting

Save the date for our 14th annual “Old Fashioned Cider Tasting” event at the Mill! All proceeds benefit the restoration of the Kimlin Cider Mill.
Planned Events:
- Cider tasting of our Kimlin Cider (available at this event only) plus other local sweet & hard ciders
- Kimlin Cider Apples: Cornell HV Research Laboratory
- Food truck by From the Ground Up
- Apple fritters made-to-order by the Fishkill Historical Society (these are a historic Dutch treat)
- Behind-the-scenes Cider Mill tours
- Raffle baskets of Hudson Valley specialties
- Live music by John Mueller Band
- Antique engine for the cider press, on loan from the Connecticut Antique Machinery Association
- Antique cider press with hands on demonstration, courtesy of John Lawrence, Hudson River Fruit Distributors & Stewart's Shops
- Guest animals from Future Farmers of America, John Jay HS
- Children's Crafts by Crazy Over Art on Tour
- Children's scavenger hunt in Mill and meadow with prize
- Intriguing new additions to the Mill’s Museum of Antiquity to pique the interest of all ages!
- Rain or shine! Under a large tent.
