Witches & Wizards on the Water 2025🧙‍♀️✨ Saturday, October 25 • 11 am–3 pm ✨🧙‍♂️
Everyone is welcome at this community-led Halloween tradition on the Petaluma River! What began as 8 witches paddling downtown has grown into a half-day celebration of costumes, community, and spooky fun on the water.
🪄 Highlights:
Trick-or-Treat Paddle Trail (11 am-3 pm) : Paddle between North Bay Rowing Club (behind Van Bebber’s on Petaluma Blvd. South) and Copeland Crossing Bridge, with stops for treats along the way.
Costume Contest (12-1 pm): No pre-registration needed! Just stop by the judges’ table at Grand Central Cafe (east side of the river, next to River House) and give your name to the assistant.
Rentals or BYO: The Floathouse will be open for rentals all day (9 am–5 pm). On this special event day, rentals will be available for 90 or 120 minutes only (no 60-minute rentals) to help reduce crowding on the docks. Book early to secure your paddle or pedal kayak, paddle board or pedal board, rowboat or canoe, water bike or Hobie Fiesta four-person pedal craft, or Megalodon giant 4-6 person paddle board.
Or bring your own craft and plan to launch from the public docks at the Weller Street ramp for easy parking.

The Floathouse will be back at its original home in the center of the Turning Basin, anchored to the new public docks (accessible from Weller Street and River Plaza on East Washington St.).
