Witches and Warlocks Paddle - Fredericton

Join us for a magical morning at Killarney Lake 👻 Grab your broomsticks (or paddles) and get ready for a spellbinding paddle on the water. In partnership with the Fredericton SPCA, we're asking each paddler to bring an item donation (see comments for list of needed items), or a suggested cash donation of $5 (collected on site).
Whether you’re a seasoned witch, daring wizard, or brand new warlock, this event is perfect for all levels of magical ability. This year there will be prizes for best decorated boat/board and best costume.
We will have liability waivers to sign in person on Saturday morning prior to getting on the water.
What to Bring: Your own paddleboard, kayak, or canoe, a PFD, a whistle & extra set of warm clothing incase you dunk in the potion.

Schedule:
7:30am - sign in & waivers
8am: Group Photo on the beach & launch
8am-8:45am paddle
8:45-9am: Best in costumes prizes awarded.
The Paddle:
The group launch from killarney lake beach and paddle together to the back part of the lake to form a spooky spiral for some great overhead drone shots. Then participants will form a line and follow back for a "parade" along the shoreline to show off costumes to spectators on shore.
