Witch Hazel x Flint and Marble Nerikomi Workshop

Join Flint and Marble for an evening of color, pattern, and clay inspired by the natural palette of Witch Hazel.
Working with colored stoneware clay, you'll learn the fundamentals of nerikomi — a Japanese technique that creates patterns by layering and arranging colored clay throughout the piece itself. Using a custom palette designed exclusively for Witch Hazel, participants will create a one-of-a-kind ceramic serving piece infused with the colors of the season: Evergreen, Celadon, Alpine Rose, Saturn Orange, and Gun Metal woven through a natural white stoneware base.
No experience is necessary. Throughout the evening, you'll be guided through the process of designing with colored clay, composing patterns, and shaping your finished piece using studio molds.
Each participant will leave behind a completed work to be professionally fired and finished. Pieces will be food safe, microwave safe, and ready for everyday use.
Pieces will be ready for pick-up approxiamately 4-6 weeks after the workshop.
