This is the famous Wolfshäger Hexenbrut Witch Dance that's been occurring all over the world since it showed up on youtube in 2016. Groups everywhere have been performing this dance around Halloween and at Flash Mobs.
They've invited all of us to perform the dance at 3pm on April 30th*, a dance for Peace, Love & Unity.
The dance is not hard, and it's a lot of fun. So grab a broom and join us on or near the stage in Highland Park.
We'll have several practices before then but start thinking about your "witchy" attire. It doesn't have to be scary halloweeny... the Walpurgis festival that the original dancers participate in on April 30th is a celebration of Spring.
*In order to dance in unison, we would have to do this on Wednesday 3:00pm on April 30th. So they suggest dancing beforehand and send in the video. We may dance the night before, Tuesday at 6pm if that's more convenient.
