WISEST Volunteer Appreciation Event

Come celebrate the 2024 WinSTEM week with us as we say "thank you" to our past and current volunteers and profile an amazing STEMinist. Join us for a showing of the film "The Women Who Loves Giraffes" which depicts Canadian Trailblazer Biologist Anne Innis Dagg. Dagg, described as "the world’s first ‘giraffologist’, whose research became the foundation for many scientists following in her footsteps". It is a story of trial and triumph.

The evening will include some treats and is open to anyone who has volunteered with WISEST in the past 42 years or plans to in the future!
