About the Headliners

Leo Langford

Leo is 6 years into comedy and some people would even call him funny. He recently won Edmonton’s Grindstone Comedy Theatre’s Stand-Up Stand-Off Competition as well as regularly featuring and hosting at comedy clubs around town and on the road. Follow:@leo_langford

Adriaan Kriel

Adriaan is one of Alberta’s bright young comics, he charms audiences around the country with his combination of a quick wit and sunny demeanour. Follow:@adriaankriel4

Nick Von Dub

Nick is a lad from Slave Lake who has become a pillar in the Edmonton comedy community. As host of The VonDubCast, The Asylum (The Moon), and the Prime Time Comedy Showcase (The Comic Strip). When Nick is not busy cheering on the Edmonton Oilers fan he is providing young comics with stage time. Follow: @nickvondub

Katie Yoner

Katie is one of the stars of the amazing show called The Rat Academy and it has already made major waves at the Edmonton and Vancouver Fringe festivals (among many others!) and this year’s Orlando’s Fringe Festival. Follow: @katie_yoner_

Host: Dino Primo
Dino loves writing jokes and sometimes even funny ones. He regularly writes with comedians from across Canada, United States, and the United Kingdom, but finds it easier to write with a pen. Dino resides in Edmonton, Alberta (Canada), but considers NYC a second home; even though most New Yorkers don’t consider the corner of 96 and Lexington behind the green dumpster liveable. His stand up has been described as either too fast or too slow, sometimes too smart or too dumb, by 3 out of 4 people named Goldilocks. He has written for Late Nite with Shay Dominguez (Atlanta, Georgia) and now writes for ATL Live (Atlanta, Georgia).
