What do you get when you mix teenage angst, leather jackets, a shirtless man playing saxophone like his life depends on it, and the murder capital of the world? Wisenheimers Presents The Lost Boys Friday October 17th at the Fairborn Phoenix Theater!Corey Haim is Sam, the new kid in Santa Carla who just wants to hang Rob Lowe posters and read comic books. Jason Patric is Michael, Sam’s older brother, who immediately ignores all red flags and falls in with a motorcycle gang led by Kiefer Sutherland’s David—equal parts menace, mullet, and peroxide. Meanwhile, Corey Feldman and Jamison Newlander show up as the Frog Brothers: junior vampire hunters who fight the undead with equal parts garlic, comic book trivia, and puberty-fueled bravado.
Can Michael resist the temptation of eternal night (and eternal mullethood)? Will Sam and the Frog Brothers save him, or will Santa Carla’s vampires turn the whole town into a Hot Topic ad? Find out Friday October 17th at 8PM at the Fairborn Phoenix—sax solos included.
