Get ready for an unforgettable week at Discovery Club where each day brings a unique theme packed with activities designed for older kids who love creating, being active, seeking adventure, and having choice. February half term’s highlight is that you can bring your bike or scooter all week and enjoy the freedom of exploring the extensive school grounds on wheels. MONDAY 16 FEBRUARY: HARRY POTTER DAY AND EPIC DENS
Monday kicks off with Harry Potter Day, where the Big Challenge is to create and perform our very own Harry Potter show, working together to write scripts, rehearse roles, make props and perform. Not into acting? No problem! You can choose to help design props, build sets, or dive into our Happy Potter Creative Zone with wizard hat-making, edible chocolate brooms, and potion crafting. And if that doesn’t take your fancy, help build our giant dens! Work together as a team to create awesome spaces that you and your friends can enjoy all week long.
TUESDAY 17 FEBRUARY: TOURIST FOR A DAY LONDON TRIP
Tuesday is all about adventure, London style! Get ready to be a tourist for the day as we head into the city for an epic trip. We’ll explore the amazing LEGO Store and the colourful world of M&M’s, where you can use your spending money to grab a treat to take home. We’ll wander through Chinatown, checking out the awesome lanterns, before finishing the day with a McDonald’s dinner! It’s going to be a day full of fun, exploring, and making memories with friends.
WEDNESDAY 18 FEBRUARY: JURASSIC WORLD DAY
Get ready for a prehistoric takeover! The Dinosaur Bouncy Castle is open all day for epic jumping, and you’ll dig deep with fossil-hunting activities like a real palaeontologist. Unleash your creativity by making and painting 3D dinosaurs with mod rock, clay, or papier-mâché. Not into dinosaurs? No problem! There’s loads more to do including board games, art & craft, icing biscuits, bracelet making, Hama beads, wool pom-poms, loom bands or simply chill out with friends with our water-based tattoos at the spa and nail bar!
THURSDAY 19 FEBRUARY: MULTI SPORTS DAY
Thursday is all about energy and options! If you love sports, get ready for football on the field, relay races, volleyball, tug of war, egg-and-spoon races, and even tennis at Oaken Grove Park (bring your own racket). Plus, ride your bikes and scooters outdoors for extra fun. Don’t worry if you prefer to be indoors, there’s a whole world of creative and chill activities waiting for you with board games, art & craft, icing biscuits, bracelet making, Hama beads, wool pom-poms, loom band, building epic dens, LEGO and Knex challenges, or build a marble run.
FRIDAY 20 FEBRUARY: ART ATTACK AND ANIMATION DAY
Friday wraps up with Art Attack & Animation Workshop, where kids can create flipbooks, try stop-motion animation, and unleash their creativity at the art station, before ending the week with a glow-in-the-dark disco and party games.
Discovery Club is all about freedom, creativity, and cool experiences—a place where older kids can choose their own adventure every day.
