This is going to be a relaxed, stress-free gathering — just the way Dad would have wanted it. We are not planning a formal service or scheduled speeches, so there will not be an online or livestream option.
Instead, we’ll be spending the afternoon together listening to Dad’s favorite music, sharing stories, laughing, reminiscing, and celebrating the memories we all have with him.
If anyone feels moved to get up and say something special, there will absolutely be a microphone available — but there is no pressure whatsoever. We simply want everyone to feel comfortable coming together, visiting, and honoring Dad in a way that feels natural and meaningful.
We are putting together a special slideshow to honor Dads life and would greatly appreciate any photos you would like to share. These memories are incredibly important and will help us celebrate the many moments, friendships, and memories that made Chukkee so special to all of us.
