Wirksworth Christmas Lunch 2024.
On Christmas Day.
If you are expecting to be on your own on Christmas Day, why not spend the day with us instead, for a community Christmas lunch and party?
All are welcome!
We meet at 12.00 mid day at Wellspring Church (please use the side door, on Wood Street) for tea/coffee, and tunes from our musicians, with the opportunity to join in with the music upstairs (percussion instruments may be provided).
IF you have have requested a lift to the venue you will be picked up around 11.30am onwards.
1.00 o'clock, lunch will be served in the downstairs room.
We will serve a traditional Turkey Christmas dinner, and a pudding, OR a vegetarian/vegan alternative. Please specify which you would like in advance, along with any allergy information (if any).
3.00pm The King's speech may be shown.
3.15pm Everyone receives a present.
3.30pm Guests who have arranged a lift will be taken home.
It would be lovely to see you there. :-)
There is no charge for this event, but donations (if you want to give them) will be accepted. This event is to provide good food and company for anyone who was expecting to be spending Christmas day on their own. You are most welcome to spend the day with us. Advance booking is fairly essential, so that we know how much food to cook.
