Its late 1987 & two Lima diesel sisters have been reunited after a long wait. The railroad itself was still stuck in 1972 almost 15 years behind the times. A Product of a small group of loyal volunteers cleaning up a Penn Central sized mess on the old big 4 branchline. With the arrival of the winter season and a yearning for a double header. The WWV decided to pair both Lima’s up on a Winter Photo Special to break 709 in and let photographers get shots of two Lima’s under load. This Event will be alot more focused on the train and its full consist working and less on the actors and cars as seen in past Shoots. A HOT lunch will be included with your fair as well. The Charter is set for January 25th, 2026 with a Prompt start time at 8:00 AM EST at the White Water Valley Railroads Grand Central Depot located at 455 Market St, Connersville, IN 47331. The end time of the charter is set currently at 4:00pm. We have a total of 25 tickets Available for Purchase! Trip will run rain, snow, or shine. Unless there is a safety concern with the weather the charter will run on the predetermined date. However if it gets canceled due to weather either a full refund will be a issued or a replacement date will be selected to attempt it again.
