Winter's Light: A Yule Ceremony & Sound Bath

As the longest night of the year approaches, we gather in ceremony beneath the forest canopy at Collective Element Wellness to honor the Winter Solstice — a time to slow down, reflect, and reconnect with our inner light.

Winter’s Light is an Yule ceremony and sound bath — a space to release what’s ready to rest and welcome renewal as the light begins to return. Rooted in the tradition of honoring the turning seasons, this gathering invites you to find warmth, connection, and meaning in the heart of winter’s darkness.

What to Expect:

• A grounding arrival and intention-setting ritual to connect with the energy of the season
• A reflection practice to release the past year and make space for new beginnings

• A restorative sound bath with crystal singing bowls and chimes
• Moments of quiet rest and integration with a beautiful view of the winter night sky
• Optional personalized oracle card reading for the season ahead
• Community connection and a peaceful closing ritual to honor the returning light

Tea and light snacks will be provided during our ceremony.

No experience is needed — just an open heart and a willingness to slow down, rest, and receive.

What to Bring:

• A yoga mat (or whatever helps you rest comfortably on the ground)
• Blankets and warm layers — think cozy socks, wooly sweaters, or fuzzy blankets
• A journal and pen for reflection
• A mug for warm tea and/ or bottle for water
• Optional: eye mask, pillow, or anything else that helps you feel comfortable

Location & Parking:

This ceremony takes place in a quiet forest area in West Vancouver.
There are limited parking spaces in the driveway and alternately some street parking on the road — please arrive 15 minutes early to allow time to find parking and settle in before we begin.
