In winter everything lies dormant in the silent earth; it is a sacred time of rest and reflection before the awakening and slow build toward brighter days.Taking time in winter for quiet reflection and meditation is a gift of love to ourselves that will replenish us for our work in the world. If we use this time well, living in harmony with the season, we then will have the energy to move outward into the world when spring comes, and everything begins anew.
On this, the longest night of the year, we remember the season and to be grateful for the light of the sun (even when we can't see it) as well as the light and darkness that resides within each of us. We are grateful for another Winter Solstice.
We will have a special Solstice meditation, and we invite our guest to volunteer to read a quarter (no pressure!).
Join us - for without your light, our world would be dark; without your warmth our lives would be cold.
Doors open @ 5:30 pm
