Kick off the festive season with a creative wreath workshop hosted by Bloom Of The Block in the beautiful and historic surroundings of Walthamstow Wetlands' Engine House. We offer a fun and creative in-person session where you'll learn to craft beautiful wreaths using natural and mostly compostible materials. Whether your style is modern or traditional the Founder of Walthamstow Central's Bloom of the Block, Leyla Husseyin will guide you throught the session to make something perfect for you. This workshop is perfect for nature lovers and DIY enthusiasts alike, you will learn how to create flow and balance in your wreath and how to work with different textures. Included in the ticket price is:
- 1 x 12" copper wreath ring
- Lots of choice of colourways
- Reel wire & stub wire
- Moss
- Pines, firs and mostly UK grown greenery foliage
- Dried fruits, cinnamon, pinecones and ribbons (no foam or plastic)
- Bag to be able to transport home
Mulled wine, mince pies and refreshments will be available to purchase on the night.
All profits are invested into London Wildlife Trust’s conservation and education work and the care of its nature reserves.
