Bring your beloved pup(s) and come discover the winter wonderland of York Land Trust preserves! It’s the time when the bugs disappear and the crunch of the ground is almost musical… perfect for a friendly monthly dog-walking group. These group outings will be led by YLT board member and pet enthusiast Nancy Nadler.
In this program, we will walk your leashed dogs (who do not have a history of aggressive behavior) through Highland Farm Preserve. We will walk a loop of approximately a mile, taking in the sights and sounds when (in Nancy’s opinion) it is the best time to enjoy our trails. Depending on the trail conditions, registrants may need to bring micro spikes.
This will be a recurring program on the first or second Sunday of the month at different York Land Trust preserves. It is free and open to the public. Please register here.
A little bit about Nancy, in her words:
I consider myself a pet enthusiast. I have been in the pet care business for ten years. I have volunteered with numerous shelters and rescue groups throughout my adult life. Sharing my walks with dogs allows me to connect with them, within a calming environment, where both people and their dogs enjoy mental stimulation from new sights and smells.
