Celebrates the 20th Year of the Winter Wonderland Free Family Workshop
The Longwood Center for the Visual Arts (LCVA) is thrilled to celebrate 20 years of glitter, paint, and ornament making with its upcoming Wonderland Free Family Workshop. Bundle up for the cold winter season and join the LCVA from 10:00 am-12:00 pm Saturday, December 6 for a festive winter-themed art workshop. This free workshop contains a variety of arts and crafts activities the whole family will enjoy, as well as light refreshments- and holiday cheer. Glitter, glue, and plenty of smiling volunteers will be on hand. Participants only need to bring their creativity! Children must be accompanied by an adult.
The event is free and no registration is required. Emily Grabiec, the LCVA’s Jacqueline Jardine Wall Director of Education and Outreach commented “The LCVA is very excited to celebrate two decades of our Winter Wonderland Workshop! This is one of my favorite events and I love to see our community come together to create fun art projects and celebrate the winter season.”

Winter Wonderland Free Family Workshop takes place Saturday, December 6, 2025 from 10:00 am-12:00 pm. The Longwood Center for the Visual Arts at the intersection of Third Street & Main Street in historic downtown Farmville, VA. This program is free and open to the public.
