Celebrate with us! Come and enjoy a nourishing afternoon of Mindful Movement, as we mark our first year of sharing mindful movement in community.
Enjoy an afternoon of Qigong, Gentle Yoga, and Freedom Dance, designed to uplift mind, body, and spirit. Take part in the sessions or simply unwind in our cosy chill-out room with tea and cake.
This event isn’t just about celebrating—it’s about supporting our future. Your attendance will help us continue sharing the benefits of mindful movement with more people.
Refreshments will be available, and all are welcome, regardless of experience. We look forward to sharing this afternoon of movement, mindfulness, and community with you!
The afternoon will include:
2pm - doors open,
2.15 - 3pm Qigong with Sophie Gibson
3.15 - 4pm Gentle Yoga with Tiffany Mendel
4.15 - 5.15pm Freedom Dance with Louise Windsor
Come for all sessions or pop in for one or two.
Move, relax, and connect with us.
All are welcome!
Qi Gong with Sophie Gibson
Qi is life force energy and Gong is work or skill, so Qi Gong is the art of working with life force energy. When we practice Qi Gong we feel calmer, clearer and more energised. Sophie has been practicing Qi Gong for over twenty years. In these times of disconnect and dis-ease, Qi Gong helps nurture balance and inner peace.
Gentle Yoga with Tiffany Mendel
A gentle practice for the darker days bringing into balance a more grounded sense of self. Exploring stability and space through movements, postures and the breath this class will help cultivate mindfulness and clarity. Seeing clearly is in essence central to yoga and the therapeutic qualities it offers. This practice is open to all.
Freedom Dance with Louise Windsor
A fun conscious non guided dance session where we move from gentle music to warm up through disco to house music ending with relaxation on the floor to end. Come and shake off the week and dance like no one is watching!
There is also the option to buy a cup of ceremonial cacao from Sher Benjamin, The Modern Goddess. Cacao is a slow release energy which contains anandamide, the bliss molecule and releases serotonin so it is a wonderfully uplifting and heart opening drink to dance with!
