Winter Waterside Wander (Guided history walk around the Quay)

Come and join us on Thursday 27th Novemberl for the winter edition of our 'Waterside Wander'. This will be a gentle guided walk along Exeter's old ship canal, where you will learn about local history and curious facts about the area and its ships, including Exeter's Big Freeze of 1917, the canal's Torrey Canyon connection and Sir Alec Rose's 'royal' arrival.

This walk is organised by Wellbeing Exeter and Friends of Exeter Ship Canal and Hertiage Harbour.

Under 18s to be accompanied by an adult.

Please do not bring dogs, except assistance dogs.

Meet: 10.30am at the Canal Basin on the Piazza Terracina

Return: Approx. 11.30am – followed by a coffee and chat
