Tree Identification (Winter)

Coed Caerdydd is teaming up with Cardiff Local Nature Partnership and the Wildlife Trusts of South and West Wales to run free training sessions for volunteers on identifying trees in winter.

The session will start at our tree nursery to see species as saplings and then continue with a walk around Forest Farm to identify mature trees in woodlands.

What do I need to bring?

Outdoor clothes, sensible shoes (e.g. walking boots or wellies), waterproofs, water, snacks, and your enthusiasm!

Do I need experience or tools?

No, we will provide all tools and training required. All ages and abilities welcome but please let us know if you need any particular support.
