Expand your foraging skillset and learn how to identify trees and the winter seed heads of wildflowers during this special January Foraging & Wild Tending Class! In this beginner friendly experience, our guide Katie will be focusing on how to identify specific species of trees and wildflowers by noticing growth patterns, bud shapes, seed pods/seed heads, bark characteristics, smell, and more.
She’ll also discuss how learning trees can help you become more skilled with habitat recognition, ultimately making you a better forager (…especially for mushrooms!), along with the gifts of knowing wildflowers in their winter form.
We hope you’ll bundle up and come join us!
Space is limited to 18, sign up early via the ticket link to save your spot.
