Winter Special Training - Long Beach
Date: January 16 – 18, 2026
Location: Cal State Long Beach & Belmont Shore Pier, Long Beach

Times:
Check-in Friday, January 16th @ 6PM @ Belmont Shore Pier.
First Practice will begin at 7PM on the beach south of the Belmont Shore Pier.
First & last practices on the beach at Belmont Shore Pier.
All other practices at Cal State Long Beach.
Last practice ends at 9 PM.
Fee: $175 ($200 for late registration at beach).
$25 late fee applies if not postmarked by the deadline date of January 12th.
Make check payable to "Shotokan Karate of America".

Pre-registration due by Monday, January 12th.

Details:
-SKA membership dues MUST be current!!
-Lodging, food, and parking are the responsibility of the participants.
-CSULB dojo (room KIN-60) will be available for daytime use and rest during in-between practices. Optional: bring sleeping bag/blanket, regular clothes, karate uniforms, etc. No overnight stay at CSULB.
-Participants are encouraged to monitor their health in the weeks prior to Special Training. Vigilance regarding exposure to COVID-19 virus is important. Participants may wear masks during Special Training, if they are inclined to do so.
