Rocky Mountain Conservancy and Rocky Mountain National Park are excited to announce that our Winter Speaker Series will be back in 2025, and we hope you’ll join us! Mark your calendars now for this chance to hear from rangers, researchers, and other Rocky experts. We’ll see you there!
- Sunday, January 19th: The Grand Ditch Holds More Than Water – The Grand Ditch carries not just water but histories of multi-cultural labor efforts, fascinating engineering feats, controversial water policies, and demonstrates the ever-present battle between park preservation and exploitation. Each 1-hour presentation will begin at 2:00pm in the Beaver Meadows Visitor Center Auditorium, located at 1000 US-36 in Estes Park, CO.
Presentations are free and open to the public. Registration is appreciated and helps us ensure adequate seating, but is not required.
