Winter Solstice Walk

The Winter Solstice Walk will bring some light and cheer to the longest night of the year. The trail will be lit at 5:30 p.m. and glow until 8 p.m. Pre-registration is not required.
Start your adventure at the small shelter:
* Hot chocolate will be provided by Nexus-PATH Family Healing.
* Make your own glow in the dark necklace provided by River Keepers.
* Buy a festive headband that lights up to help support the event.
This is a special way to experience the beauty of a riverfront park in December.
* Carpool!
* Bring family and friends.
* Dress for the weather.
* Wear comfortable walking shoes.
* Walking sticks are good for winter walking but not necessary.
* Welcome to bring festive lighted necklaces and/or hats!
