Our annual freedom run around the parkrun route returns for 2024 on Saturday 21st December starting at 19:00.Everyone is welcome to join in the fun. Fancy dress is encouraged with a heavy bias towards fairy lights and anything Christmassy.
If you have not run with us in previous years, the nature reserve will be dark. It will be very dark. Headtorches or body torches are compulsory. Please be careful of your footing whilst running and make sure that you are in charge of all children and animals. You should know the route as it will not be marshalled or sign posted.
Braywick is very active during the evenings. There are many sports taking place across the park, so the car parks are usually busy. The 2 small car parks either side of the rugby club are for permit holders only. All other car parks are chargeable until 9:00pm. Parking Officers are very active during the evenings so please ensure that you obey all parking notices. You have been warned.
Please note the following:
1. This is a freedom run and therefore does not count towards any of your milestones.
2. There will be no time keepers.
3. There is likely to be only one marshal.
4. HEADTORCHES (or chest torches) ARE MANDATORY.
5. You run at your own risk.
