About the Retreat
At the heart of winter’s stillness, the solstice reminds us that the sun will rise again, bringing with it new beginnings and the promise of brighter days. This sacred point in the year, often hectic and stressful, offers us a chance to pause, reflect, and reconnect with nature’s gentle rhythms. By allowing ourselves to slow down, we nurture our bodies and minds – a true act of self-care. You are so worth it!
What to Expect
• Yoga with Maria – A gentle session including Kria (yogic actions), breath-work, and embodied movement to shift stagnant energy and restore vitality.
• Meditation & Mantra – Guided meditation with the optional practice of singing mantra, using your voice to drop into a deeper state of presence.
• Interval – Indulge in plant-based, winter-themed treats and a cosy, warming drink.
• Practice of Trataka – Experience a guided candlelight meditation to quieten the mind, calm the nervous system, sharpen focus, and strengthen the eyes.
• Yoga Nidra – Deep rest through a gentle yet powerful guided meditation. Nidra, often called ‘yogic sleep’, is a state between waking and sleeping, perfect for deep relaxation, improved sleep, enhanced productivity, or emotional healing.
