Winter Solstice Hike @ Meadowbrook

Celebrate the approach of the winter solstice with a peaceful afternoon at Meadowbrook Nature Preserve! As the year reaches its darkest days, join us for a guided walk through the winter landscape and take time to notice the quiet beauty of the season. We’ll explore the preserve, reflect on the winter solstice, and celebrate the gradual return of the light.
After our hike, we’ll gather around a cozy fire to warm up with hot drinks and s’mores. It’s the perfect way to spend an afternoon outdoors–surrounded by nature, good company, and a little seasonal magic.=
Please dress for the weather with warm layers and sturdy, winter-appropriate footwear. We encourage you to bring your favorite mug for cocoa!
All ages are welcome. Please RSVP at https://heinzetrust.org/event/winter-solstice-hike-meadowbrook-2/ to reserve your spot and help us plan enough s’mores and warm drinks for everyone.
