Celebrate the shortest day of the year with a magical hike under the winter sky! Join us as we welcome the return of the light with a guided walk through snow-dusted trails, followed by cozy fireside s’mores and warm drinks.Please wear warm layers and sturdy boots. Optionally, we encourage you to bring a mug for cocoa!
All ages are welcome. Space is limited, so please RSVP to reserve your spot and help us plan enough s’mores for everyone.
Length: This hike will take place along the bog boardwalk trail (approx. 0.5 – 1 mile round-trip), which features an accessible gravel path and wetland boardwalks.
What to Bring: Please wear sturdy shoes, and pack your own water and snacks.
Parking & Amenities: The preserve features accessible parking and a covered pavilion. Potable water is not available at the preserve.
Restrooms: Outdoor restroom facilities will be closed for the season.
Please note that this event will begin at 12 pm Eastern Time.
