Join us on the darkest night of the year, to surrender to the stillness and the silence.
Our Winter Solstice Candlelight Meditation & Sound Journey will be led by OM Sanctuary Artist-in-Residence Rebekah Joy in collaboration with Sound Artist Sema Rae.
Amid the challenges in our lives, there is a foundation of stillness.
Beneath the continuous noise, reigns an ever present silence.
Can you connect to the stillness in the chaos?
Can you hear the silence resting beneath the noise?
Surrender:
By surrendering we acknowledge that aspects of life are outside of our control.
By surrendering we create space for ultimate connection and freedom.
In the process of surrender, we open ourselves to the divine mysteries.
As we embark on this meditation and sound journey, you will be guided and supported in a process of surrender. Opening in a circle, we will set individual intentions as we light the candles that surround us. Through meditation, we will connect with our highest selves and explore what is ready to be released. During the sound journey, we will rest in silence that lies between the sounds, and embrace the stillness beneath all movement.
Stepping outside of space and time, we surrender to the ever present now. By transforming what no longer serves us, we create spaciousness within.
