About this Event
✨ Celebrate the season, support local families, and dance under the winter lights. ✨
Join us on Wednesday, December 9, 2026, from 5:00 to 9:00 PM at Casa Sur Hacienda in Chula Vista for an evening of community, culture, and giving. Shop our holiday market, enjoy delicious food and drinks, dance to a live DJ, and help bring holiday joy to children and families going through one of life’s hardest journeys.
🎁 Free Entry, With a Heart
Admission is free. We ask every guest to bring a new, unwrapped toy for a (0-2 year old baby) or (10-15 year old kid) or make a financial donation to the Emilio Nares Foundation. Every gift goes directly to children and families in our community.

- Emilio Nares Foundation Presentation. Learn about ENF’s work and the families it serves.
- Live Well San Diego Proclamation (7:00 PM). Casa Sur Hacienda will be officially proclaimed a Live Well San Diego Recognized Partner by the County of San Diego.
- Casa Sur Hacienda European Tour 2027 with Communities Beyond Borders. Get a first look at our 2027 European journey and how you can be part of it. This Winter Soirée is Casa Sur Hacienda’s final event of the year and our last gathering before we head to Europe in 2027.
- Live DJ & Baile. Bring your dancing shoes!
- Holiday Market. Local vendors, artisans, and unique gifts, plus delicious food and drinks available for purchase.
💛 About the Emilio Nares Foundation
The Emilio Nares Foundation (ENF) helps families navigate their child’s journey with cancer and other life-threatening illnesses. Founded in honor of Emilio Nares, ENF provides free rides to treatment through Ride with Emilio, nourishing Emilio’s Snack Bags for kids in treatment, and family support services through its Family Resource Center. Your toy or donation brings comfort and a little holiday magic to children spending the season in treatment.

Casa Sur Hacienda is a quarter-acre hacienda-style gathering place in the heart of Chula Vista, a home for events, retreats, artists, and community celebrations. It was designed for connection and co-creation across San Diego and Tijuana.
A Farewell Celebration Before Europe 2027
This Winter Soirée is Casa Sur Hacienda’s final event of the year and our last gathering before we head to Europe in 2027. As Casa Sur Hacienda grows into new ventures and social ecosystems, we’ll be exploring new ways to create social impact, build meaningful connections across borders, and raise awareness of the Latino community’s culture, contributions, and voice on a global stage. That voice carries real weight: the U.S. Latino economy reached $4.4 trillion in economic output (GDP) in 2024. Measured as a standalone country, it would be the fourth-largest economy in the world, according to the Latino Donor Collaborative’s 2026 U.S. Latino Economic Impact Report (ASU News). This night is our way of saying gracias to the community that made Casa Sur Hacienda what it is, and of sharing what comes next. Come celebrate with us and be part of this next chapter.
