About this Event

As winter invites us inward, this half-day retreat offers a gentle opportunity to slow down, soften and reconnect.

Together we'll explore breath, mindful movement, nourishing rest, yoga nidra and an immersive sound bath, with time to enjoy tea, snacks and quiet connection.

Designed for all levels, this retreat is an invitation to pause from the busyness of daily life and simply be.


FLOW OF THE RETREAT

11:00am | Arrival & Tea

Arrive, settle in and enjoy a warm cup of tea as we ease into the retreat.

11:30am | Breath & Grounding Practice

Gentle breathwork to calm the nervous system and arrive fully in the present moment.

11:40am | Slow Flow Yoga

Awaken the body, release tension and prepare for a deeper afternoon of rest.

12:30pm | Tea & Seasonal Snacks

Time to nourish, connect and simply be.

1:00pm | Yin Yoga and Guided Yoga Nidra

Longer-held postures designed to encourage deep release, stillness and rest.

Followed by a guided Yoga Nidra practice to support deep relaxation and inner awareness.

2:00pm | Sound Bath

An immersive sound experience with crystal singing bowls, chimes and other gentle instruments.

3:00pm | Tea & Closing

A gentle return before we carry the calm of the afternoon into the rest of our weekend.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

1. Do I need yoga experience?

Not at all. This retreat is suitable for all levels, including complete beginners.

2. What should I bring?

Please bring a water bottle, blanket and anything else that helps you feel comfortable and warm. Yoga mats and props will be provided.

3. Will props be provided?

Bolsters, blankets and other props will be available at the studio, however you are welcome to bring your own favourites.

4. Can I attend if I am pregnant or have an injury?

Please contact me before booking so we can discuss whether the retreat is suitable for your individual circumstances.

5. What is a sound bath?

A sound bath is a deeply restful experience where participants lie down comfortably while being immersed in the sounds of crystal singing bowls, chimes and other instruments. No bathing is involved!

6. What if I need to cancel?

7. Where will the retreat be held?
