This workshop event is limited to 10 participants to ensure a personalized learning experience - please register early!
In this workshop, Blue Oak owner, horticulturist and naturalist Ryan Merck will cover the basics of fruit tree and vine pruning, including proper tool selection and use, basic tree forms for different species, and different pruning cuts and their effect on the tree. You will have the opportunity to do hands-on practice if you choose. You are required to bring and wear safety glasses and are encouraged to bring a pair of by-pass pruners. Some safety glasses and pruners are available to borrow (contact us if this is needed to reserve).
