Get ready for spring planting by starting your perennial pollinator garden seeds right now. Participants will start seedlings for spring planting of two popular wildflowers that pollinators love: Purple Cone flowers (Echinacea) and Black-Eyed Susans (Rudbeckia). Together, they bring a colorful and vibrant addition to your landscape, creating habitat that attracts butterflies, hummingbirds, bumble bees, and other pollinators.Participants will learn about how to do cold stratification which is needed to start the germination of these seeds, and will bring home two planted seed packages (one of each seed variety) to just plop in the snow until spring.
Class taught by Debbie Morrison, and the class fee of $25 includes all materials and instruction to create two seedling packages, plus one beverage of your choice. NO REFUNDS
