Looking for somewhere to wet a line this winter without battling river conditions, slippery banks, or long walks?
Join us at the Hawke's Bay Fish & Game Park for our Winter Open Days, running every second Monday from 9:00am – 2:00pm, starting 29 June through to the end of August.
These days are designed with our senior licence holders in mind, providing easy access fishing in a relaxed setting, but all current Fish & Game licence holders are welcome.
What’s available:
🎣 Trout fishing in the ponds

Whether you're looking to catch a fish, sharpen your shooting skills, or simply enjoy a few hours outdoors with fellow anglers and hunters, we'd love to see you here.
No booking required – just turn up and enjoy the day.
T&Cs Everyone fishing must hold a current fishing licence. No treble hooks. Spin or Fly Fishing permitted. 1 fish bag limit. BYO gear & all anglers must wear eye protection while fishing.
No entry fee but a donation towards our Junior fishing program is much appreciated.
