Join us for the City’s annual holiday tree lighting ceremony and the official kickoff to the winter season! The evening will feature festive music, food trucks and free activities for children. The extended weather forecast is calling for a 100 percent chance of snow, adding to the holiday atmosphere.
Festivities begin at 5:30 p.m., with Mayor Denny Magruder welcoming attendees at 6:15 p.m. Santa will then make his grand entrance with the help of the Wheeling Fire Department, followed by the official lighting of the tree. Children will also have an opportunity to share their holiday wishes with Santa before he heads back to the North Pole.
