Our social night at Peter's was such fun: it will be remembered as 'The Tim Tam Tango Table'. Who knew that the seemingly simple menu of soup, sausage rolls & sexy sweets would be such a gourmet delight. We danced (rock 'n roll, milonga, & tango), dined & wined in fine style, heard stories & a poetry recitation of 'Clancy of the Overflow, saw two dance performances from Peter (with Lauraine & Telsa), and finished the night with a fabulous array of desserts made b y Telsa & Peter, that were delicious (& sexy).
Our next social event will be our Winter Milonga on Sunday, 19 July, 2 - 5pm, at Christ Church, corner of Moorabool & McKillop Street. $15, kids no charge. Afternoon tea, social dancing, informal performances, & special fundraising effort for the Community Meals Program (increasing numbers of cold & hungry people out there).
